Crop cutting experiment Result

Crop cutting experiment in respect of Khariff paddy crop for the year 2007 has been conducted and the result there of has been submitted to the Govt. in Revenue Deptt. vide this office letter No 203 dt 19/2/2008 with the copy of the same to the special relief commissioner, Orissa and Revenue Divisional Commissioner (ND) Sambalpur in next memos. The following table indicate the number of village /G.P. / Blocks which have sustained crop loss of more than 50% during Khariff 2007.

Declaration of Drought:-

Govt. In Revenue and Disaster Management Orissa vide their Notification No 9818 /RDM dt 25/2/08 and No 17582 /RDM 18/4/2008 keeping in view inadequate rainfall had declared one block areas of the district as drought affected.

Allotment of Rs 2,40,000/- has been received from Special Relief Commissioner, Orissa towards Ex-gratia (Lightening) for the year 2007. The same has been disbursed to the person concerned through the Tahasildars on A/c payee cheque only as follows.

2) Jayanti Banchhor, Kuisira Bhatli Rs 10,000/-

3) Sanyasi Bariha, Sarakanda, Sohela Rs 10,000/-

4) Biswanath Bishi , Tingipali, Barpali Rs 50,000/-

5) Kailash Bariha , Rasamunda , Paikmal Rs 50,000/-

6) Ghanshyam Naik, Jhengnadihi, Paikmal Rs 50,000/-

7) Pabitra Sahu, Haluplai , Bhatli Rs 50,000/-

8) Tika Tandi, budelpali, Bargarh Rs 10,000/-

b) Ex-gratia (Sun stroke)

One Manikya Padhan of village Chandibhata, Paikmal Tahasil , died due to Sunstroke during the year 2006-07 and ex-gratia of Rs10,000/- has been paid to the decease family of Manikya Padhan, 2007.

c) Hail storms

During the year 2007-08 an allotment of Rs 6.69 lakh only has been received towards payment of hail storm affected people . The amount has been paid through the following Tahasildar as follows.

1) Tahasildar, Bheden Rs 5,20,000/-

2) Tahasildar, Sohela Rs 69,200/-

3) Tahasildar, Bargarh Rs 67,600/-

Total Rs 6,56,800/-

d) CMRF

1) Amount received from CMRF under the disposal of

Collector, Bargarh on 27/11/2007 Rs 30,00,000/-

2) Amount utilized till date Rs 6,46,832/-

3) No. of persons benefited 48 (forty eight) only

e) DEOC, Bargarh

Allotment of Rs 20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand ) only has been received towards contingent charges of DEOC.

Allotment of Rs 16,000/- has been received towards Telephone Charges and OC during the year 2007.
